The ZoBell Hotel

The big move finally came. Farewell New York (boo hoo) and hello Utah (yay!)! Completely bittersweet. That being said, is it bad that to some extent I’m out of site out of mind? About places that is… Meaning, I always find leaving extremely hard, but once I’m there—wherever there may be—I love it. And since “there” is now Utah let me just say: I’m in love! Family, mountains, fresh air, driving, easy access to the outdoors, family again… Utah really is a wonderful state! And please appreciate our fantastically misleading welcome party and epic return:

You see why I love my fam? Their goal was for everyone to expect the return of an elderly LDS (Mormon) missionary couple... returning from Chile. And it worked. Everyone was pretty confused when we showed up as we looked far from missionary-like... Bryan might have passed seeing as he had come straight from work. But not me...

And as for our exact whereabouts, let’s just say we’ve checked into Salt Lake’s ZoBell Hotel temporarily while we figure out where exactly we want to live. And by ZoBell Hotel I really mean my amazing and most generous grandparent’s home. They joke it’s the ZoBell Hotel due to their many children who have temporarily “checked into” their residence throughout the years. And it’s a great hotel! We couldn’t ask for better roommates…or do I say housemates? Either way, they are the best company and friends anyone could ask for! We love them and are forever grateful to them!

Now to job searching and licensure studying...
